Facebook is Not Just Banning Free Speech. It’s Banning Marketers Too!
We all know that the mainstream platforms are purging conservatives and free speech. However, it’s not as well known that they’re also making it very difficult for marketers to create audiences and income. Why does this matter? Because if we can’t create audiences and employ marketing tactics to fund our operations, we lose our voice. So this is an extremely important topic.
As a fellow marketer, I’ve been following Chase Reiner for a while now. He’s an awesome marketer and a genuine guy that built up a legitimate following (and income) from nothing over the past 6 years or so. He’s made most of his money (the hard way) serving clients with SEO; but lately he has been branching out into pretty much just using his skills for himself. Chase is a huge advocate of cross promoting platforms and generating authority. After a lot of trial and error, Chase has picked up on the fact that general “buzz” and “authority” actually pulls rankings up a lot faster than trying to generate backlinks. So he’s developed some pretty amazing ways of building authority and creating audiences.
Today, I came across this video by Chase, saying that he’s been banned from Facebook. Does this cause me to think Chase’s methods are no good or that he’s somehow done something wrong? No. What it confirms to me is that Facebook is happy to take your money if you market through their channels. ie: Pay them for advertising. But if you’re actually a GREAT organic marketer (ie: as Chase is), they’ll slap you so far off their platform, you won’t know which way your head is spinning. And this is what happened to Chase. Chase is not the first. There are many thousands of marketers that have been booted off Facebook for “marketing”. Why? Because Facebook was not getting a cut.
It’s not enough that YouTube, Facebook and Twitter — and Google, for that matter, are fixing the algorithms so that your own audiences/customers can’t even see the content or services that you provide to them — but they’re actively booting and censoring people. In Twitter’s case, even the President of the United States is not safe.
FreedomWorkshop has been set up to teach people how to get off these digital ghettos, and to create a legitimate income by using the alternative platforms. The best thing alternative platforms have going for them is that they don’t have algorithms that cause your own audience to not see what you’ve posted. So you can be sure that if you post some content, your audience will actually see it. Alternative platforms are not just bringing back free speech, but they’re also bringing back fair and unbiased practices.
