The Bible and the World - Jesus is Lord Membergroup

Access to the "Bible and the World" section has been altered so that only Christians are able to see and post in it. The purpose of that section is specifically for Christians, ie: Those who believe that the Bible was handed to us by God, and that Jesus is Lord to discuss things that are happening in the world from a Christian perspective without disruption from those who do not read or understand the Bible, or have a relationship with God, through Christ.

In the short life of the forums, during the first two weeks, much complaint and objection has risen from those who do not believe the Bible is the word of God. Those who made such objections have petitioned me to allow atheists to post in the section, offering their contrary views. I have been (unfairly) accused of censorship and not letting people state their view. The real reason, of course, is that these people can't sleep at night, knowing that there's other people who declare that Jesus is Lord and who are happy to serve him. The complaints have nothing to do with being allowed to have a say or not.

I see now that it is not possible to have such a section on the forums, for others to see and read, because there will be a never ending parade of people banging on the doors, accusing me of (insert objection / accusation here) in order to disrupt the section, with absolutely no will or desire to post constructively, in order to allow the section to perform its task: To allow Christians to discuss the world with each other, without disruption from those who don't understand a Christian perspective (and who often know very little about God's word and have no relationship with God, according to Biblical standards).

The "Bible and the World" section is now only accessible to those who are in the "Jesus is Lord" member group. To get into the membergroup, you must send me a PM, specifically stating the following:

I agree that the Bible is the word of God
I agree that Jesus is Lord
I am a Christian

Ok, now that's that problem out of the way. Hopefully, the forum can continue to serve its objective which is to allow people to come and share their experiences and views of the world, and not bicker and argue about beliefs, while accusing me of censoring people's views. They can't see the section at all now. Problem solved. Out of sight -- out of mind.

This topic is locked. Please do not bring up a response to this thread publicly. There will be no further discussion about it on the forums. If you have a sincere issue with what I have written here, and you can't sleep at night because of your objection, PM is the way to go.
