Windows Vista [guinea pig] was a trainwreck from its conception.
I know - let's take an inept operating system that we deliberately haven't been able to perfect in 10+ years, sabotage it, re-brand it, sell it back to the suckers, then dump it!

Man, I can't stand Vista. I remember prior to it being released, it was being hailed as the greatest platform ever to exist in the universe! Now look what I have to put up with .. pfffft'

I am seriously considering purchasing a Mac. I know that most software that's made for Windows is also made for Mac. Plus, Mac don't just make their OS, they make their hardware too -- so that the OS and Hardware actually work together. I've never really used a Mac for any great length of time, but my best (and calculated guess) is that it would be 10 times more efficient than anything Microsoft could ever come up with. I love Ubuntu (linux), I really do, and they get great kudos from me -- but even though the OS is fantastic, the software department still leaves a lot to desire.

Haha, oh the days of Vista... I feel your pain my friend.

Vista is the ram and resource hog of all operating systems... so glad win 7 came out to end the chaos!

It took me twenty five minutes to post this response. I had to wait 15 minutes between each keystroke. I have 4GB of RAM!
